At Aerial Art, we combine technology, creativity, and design to produce unique aerial imagery artworks. Our designs are based on a variety of high-quality satellite and mapping sources, which are digitally enhanced and stylised by our in-house team of computer graphic designers.
We gratefully acknowledge the following sources:
-
LINZ (Land Information New Zealand) – Some imagery contains data sourced from LINZ and is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).
-
SkyWatch – Select satellite imagery provided via licensed access to Earth observation platforms.
-
Airbus Defence and Space – Certain designs incorporate licensed satellite imagery (e.g., Pleiades, SPOT).
-
Creative Commons & Licensed Imagery – We occasionally use imagery sourced through platforms like Google Images where content is clearly marked for reuse with appropriate licenses.
All source imagery is carefully reviewed for usage rights and attribution requirements. Aerial Art transforms these raw data sources through advanced digital editing to create bespoke, personalised artwork for our clients.
If you have questions about a specific artwork’s source or licensing, feel free to contact us.
